To date, Sigma Chi has donated $24 million to fulfill a promise to become the "Generation to End Cancer".  In 2015, Sigma Chi made a pledge to donate $10 million to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation within seven years.  In recognition of that pledge, The Huntsman Cancer Institute named its sixth floor for the Sigma Chi International Fraternity.  In 2017, the Fraternity increased its pledge from $1 million to $11 million with the creation of the Sigma Chi Friendship Garden in the new Primary Children's and Families' Cancer Research Center. During the 2024 - 2025 academic year, the Sigma Chi International Fraternity raised over $5 million - the most money ever donated to a philanthropy by a fraternity.  To show their endless dedication to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, the Sigma Chi International Fraternity has pledged to donate another $31 million in the coming years...  the BIGGEST pledge ever made by a fraternity to a philanthropy!

During the 2024 - 2025 academic year, the Epsilon Mu Chapter of Sigma Chi made history by raising over $52,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation!
